This 3-day seminar spends less time on significant

events and stakeholder meetings and is a must for

anyone tasked with leading investigations, whether

alone or with a learning team.  This seminar will

challenge individuals to grow as leaders while providing

hands-on learning on how to lead an investigation. This experience

will equip you to lead people through an LCA, share results with

management, and guide your organization in continuous improvement

efforts. Attendees will learn to approach “failure” and maximize the

benefits of those involved learning from things that go wrong.

 

Participants will understand how to lead an LCA and adopt a very practical approach to

investigating any problem. Most importantly, they will learn the value of helping people identify

latency and how to address it effectively to prevent future issues.

1-day Latent Cause Analysis

This 8 hour class will change your attitude

towards “failure” and its causes. It will

challenge you and your organization to change

the way you think. You will understand the

techniques of Latent Cause Analysis.

Attendees will understand how to perform a Latent Cause Analysis. Learn a very practical approach to investigating any problem. Most importantly, they will recognize the value of the following questions:

"What is about the way WE ARE and the way I AM that contributes to our problems and what am I willing to do about it?"

Executive Overview of Latent Cause Analysis

These are customized to your organizations' needs.  We offer one to four hour options.  The difference being the amount of examples, exercises, and discussion involved.  Individuals will leave these overview sessions understanding the basic LCA process and how it improves human performance.  They will leave with a new understanding of how they contribute to their organizations successes and failures.

These executive overviews are often scheduled following a Latent Cause Experience™ seminar.  The class comments, questions, and critiques are presented for a snapshot and better understanding of their organization.

The Principal Investigator Experience

This two-day course is designed for those who will be leading high-consequence LCAs. It is highly interactive and features discussions based on years of experience performing LCAs. We review the LCA process and then walk through the entire process step by step. This includes a mock stakeholder meeting, ending with guidance on how to report and communicate findings to ensure lessons are shared.
