1-day Latent Cause Analysis
This 8 hour class will change your attitude towards
“failure” and its causes. It will challenge you to
change the way you think. You will leave with a new
lens on life and understand the techniques of Latent
Cause Analysis.
Attendees will understand how to perform a Latent Cause Analysis on a small incident and be ready to participate as a team member on a larger event. Learn a very practical approach to investigating any problem and discover the true cause of our problems: Latency. Most importantly, they will recognize the value of the following questions:
"What is about the way WE ARE and the way I AM that contributes to our problems and what am I willing to do about it?"
The Principal Investigator Experience
This two-day course is designed for those who have been through the the 4-day Latent Cause Experience and would like more practice leading high-consequence LCAs. It is highly interactive and features discussions based on years of experience performing LCAs. We review the LCA process and then walk through the entire process step by step. This includes a mock stakeholder meeting, ending with guidance on how to report and communicate findings to ensure lessons are shared.
